COA Reviews Highlights From 2018
The Community Oncology Alliance recently released its 2018 Year in Review report, evaluating the successes and highlights from the organization’s many initiatives over the past year.
COA acknowledges that 2018 was a year of strong policy performance, with the organization addressing several important issues that would affect community oncology, such as proposed changes to Medicare and the application of the Medicare sequester cut to Part B reimbursement.
The report also emphasized the organization’s involvement in developing the Oncology Care Model and in finding solutions for the cost of cancer care, as well as the impactful studies produced by COA throughout the year, such as the 2018 Practice Impact Report.
