New Florida Cancer Specialists Location Open in North Port

The new state-of-the-art North Port Cancer Center is now open.

Fort Myers, Fla., Oct. 11, 2021 – Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) has opened its new state-of-the-art North Port Cancer Center, providing the most advanced and personalized treatments and services for patients with all forms of cancers and blood disorders. Located at 1390 Grand Venture Drive, North Port, FL. 34286, it replaces the FCS clinic at 3085 Bobcat Village Center Road in North Port.

In nearly 20,000 square feet of space, the FCS North Port Cancer Center includes 16 exam rooms, 45 chemotherapy infusion chairs and PET/CT scan technology, as well as laboratory, oral oncolytic specialty pharmacy and care management services.

“FCS is dedicated to providing patients with exceptional cancer care close to home and we are proud to keep pace with expanded services for this rapidly growing community in south Sarasota County,” said FCS Chief Executive Officer Nathan H. Walcker. “Our new cancer center in North Port features a patient-centered environment, thoughtfully designed to enhance patient comfort and convenience.”

FCS President and Managing Physician Lucio Gordan, MD said, “In addition to accessing a variety of personalized services and the most advanced treatments and therapies all under one roof, patients will have expanded opportunities to participate in clinical trials of the most promising new cancer treatments.”

FCS Board-certified medical oncologists Alexander Glick, MD, Christopher Lobo, MD, Ivor Percent, MD, Arsh Singh, MD, Stephen Vara, MD and Vance Wright-Browne, MD are providing care to patients at the FCS North Port Cancer Center.
