Clinicians affiliated with the National Community Oncology Dispensing Association, Inc have launched the Intravenous Cancer Treatment Education website, as educational resource for patients.

The NCODA Patient Satisfaction Surveys aim to evaluate overall satisfaction with the pharmacy model from which patients receive therapy, convenience, timing to receive drug, interaction with staff, and financial assistance if available.

The National Community Oncology Dispensing Association has announced the addition of hematologist and medical oncologist Barry D. Brooks, MD, to its executive council in April.

At practices with their own pharmacies, many patients are now given the option of picking up prescriptions directly from the clinic, known as medically integrated dispensing. Proponents of this method believe that it provides for better patient outcomes, allows for better tracking of patient adherence, and is substantially more cost effective.&nbsp;
