Expert Highlights Areas of Research in MCL

Krish Patel, MD, an oncologist at the Swedish Cancer Institute, discusses the areas of research he finds particularly interesting for the treatment of patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).

Moving forward, Patel thinks it will be interesting to see how CAR T-cell therapy evolves in this space. This is an exciting area of research for MCL, as well as the other lymphoid malignancies where these agents are also being investigated. However, it is too early to know the ultimate impact of this research.
