Sireesha Datla, MD Joins Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute

Fort Myers, Fla., August 28, 2023 – Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) is pleased to welcome hematologist and medical oncologist Sireesha Datla, MD to the statewide practice. She is providing care to patients at the FCS St. Petersburg clinic, 5767 49th Street N., St. Petersburg, FL 33709 and at the FCS St. Anthony’s clinic, 1201 5th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, Florida 33705.

Dr. Datla has been done extensive research and has a special interest in hematological conditions. She has been published in numerous medical journals.

After receiving her medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College at NTR University of Medical Sciences, India, Dr. Datla completed Internal Medicine residency training at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY. She was awarded fellowships in Sickle Cell Disease at State University of New York Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking at Case Western University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and in Hematology and Oncology at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
