Targeted Oncology Is Now Targeted Onc

Fact checked by: Jason M. Broderick

New Name, Same Connection to Care

Targeted Oncology is now Targeted Onc. Beginning today, the franchise that has long served community oncologists and hematologists carries a new name and a new logo, along with a sharper statement of what it stands for: Where Community Oncology Turns Science Into Improved Patient Outcomes.

For our audience, a key component of this announcement is what stays the same. The trusted content, leading experts, and programs you rely on are all still here, now under the Targeted Onc name. The content team, the faculty who lead our programs, and the clinical rigor behind every article, video, and event are unchanged.

Why Targeted Onc, and Why Now

The new name reflects who we are today and where we are headed. Over the years, this brand has grown into a robust platform built around the daily work of community oncologists. Our portfolio includes daily digital content on TargetedOnc.com, oncologist-led video programs and podcasts, multichannel conference coverage, e-newsletters, the print publication Targeted Onc, and more than 800 in-person and virtual events each year. Through collaborations with 80 oncology group practices, state oncology societies, and related associations, the brand connects clinicians with the knowledge, perspectives, and professional relationships that support their practice.

At the center of all of it is a single promise: to bridge the gap between complex scientific breakthroughs and the everyday reality of patient care in the community. The pace of oncology drug development means new data arrive constantly, from pivotal trial readouts to updated guidelines to new approvals. Our job is to turn that high-level science into actionable clinical intelligence, so community oncologists can make informed decisions with confidence. A shorter, more direct name puts the focus where it belongs, on that mission rather than on the label.

A Logo Built Around Connection

The new identity was designed to show what the brand does, not simply to announce a new look. The interlocking “T” and “O” at the heart of the logo represent connection, and that idea anchors the launch campaign, What We Connect. Each pairing reflects a part of the work:

  • Science + Practice: research translated into treatment decisions
  • Insights + Action: expert perspectives clinicians can apply the next day in clinic
  • Peers + Community: Case-Based Roundtables, live events, and a network of leading voices in oncology
  • Data + Decisions: trial readouts and analysis that inform care
  • Breakthroughs + Care: new therapies reaching the patients who need them

In each case, the T/O mark is what joins the two ideas. The logo connects, because the brand connects.

What Comes Next

Over the coming weeks, the Targeted Onc identity will roll out across every part of the portfolio. Case-Based Roundtables and other events will open with the new branding, video programs will carry the new mark, and readers will see the What We Connect pairings appear across digital coverage. A recurring “We Connect” series will spotlight a real connection each week, whether a key opinion leader’s insight on a practice-changing trial, a notable data readout, or a moment from one of our events.

Looking further ahead, the rebrand marks a commitment as much as a change. As targeted therapies, immunotherapies, cellular therapies, bispecific antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and other emerging approaches move into earlier lines of treatment and further into community practice, the need for timely, practical, peer-driven education will only grow. Targeted Onc will keep expanding the formats, faculty, and partnerships that help oncology professionals stay current and navigate an evolving treatment landscape.

Our secondary tagline sums up the road ahead: Driving Knowledge. Empowering Change. Optimizing Outcomes. The name is new. The connection to care is the same, and it is only getting stronger.
