John P. Diaz, MD, is the deputy chief of Gynecologic Oncology, and lead physician for Clinical Trials in Gynecologic Oncology at Miami Cancer Institute. He also serves as chief of the Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, at Baptist Health South Florida.

Diaz completed his gynecologic oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York where he also received the Department of Surgery Chairman’s Award.

Outside of treating patients, Diaz is an associate professor for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Florida International University.
