Cooperberg says the questions currently being answered in the treatment paradigm for the malignancy are when should secondary radiation therapy be used and if can it be adjuvant or early salvage. He adds that hormonal therapy being given with salvage radiation therapy is another option currently being looked into by ongoing clinical trials.
