The final quarter of 2026 is expected to bring several consequential FDA decisions in oncology, spanning targeted therapies, antibody-based treatments, and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. The applications cover a broad range of disease settings, from rare tumors such as tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT) and gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) to biomarker-defined populations in lung, breast, and prostate cancers. Several decisions could also introduce therapies into earlier lines of treatment or add new options for patients with limited choices after disease progression.
