While multiple BTK inhibitors are utilized in the treatment of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, Andrew H. Lipsky,MD, says the 6-year SEQUOIA trial results showed continuous zanubrutinib monotherapy had the best numerical progression-free survival (PFS) data for BTK inhibitor monotherapy in the frontline setting. He predicts that the median PFS data will also favor zanubrutinib when it is eventually available. Lastly, he shares his opinion that, overall, zanubrutinib “has the best comparative cardiac data.”
